Nothing on this page is cached longer than a few seconds, and it is generated by the same process that serves the app — so it cannot report green while the app is unreachable.
What the states mean
| State | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Operational | Working normally. If you are still seeing a problem, it is worth writing to us. |
| Degraded | Working, but some requests are failing or slow. Retrying often succeeds. |
| Down | Not working. We are on it; there is no need to report it. |
| Unknown | Not enough recent activity to judge. This is deliberate: on a quiet instance, claiming green on no evidence is how an outage stays hidden for three months. |
| Unreachable | This page could not reach the service at all — which is itself a strong signal that something is wrong. |
What this page cannot tell you
This page is served by the same infrastructure it reports on. That makes it honest about component-level failures and useless during a total outage: if the whole host is gone, you will get a browser error rather than a red banner. External monitoring that survives that case is on our list, and this page will point at it when it exists.
It also shows no history and no incident log yet. For anything you need a record of, ask us and we will tell you what happened.
